Maid of the Mist goes pink for October

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, guests who board the world famous Maid of the Mist during the month of October will be given pink ponchos.

“This is an annual rite of October for us,” said Christopher Glynn, president of the Maid of the Mist Corp. “The pink ponchos are a reminder of the importance of supporting women with breast cancer as well as their families. Our guests arrive daily from around the world, so our message of support will literally have a global reach.”

The traditional blue Maid of the Mist ponchos will return Nov. 1. This year’s season runs through Nov. 6.
